The Air Launch Aerospace Corporation, a private Russian company, is developing an air-launched system capable of delivering satellites up to 3,850 kg to LEO and up to 800 kg to GEO. The Air Launch Space Transportation System is intended to become a successful competitor among similar systems due to its obvious advantages: geographic and operational flexibility, wide range of target orbit inclinations (0-115º), ecological safety.
