APSCC
2011 Marks its Position as Asia’s Must-Attend
Satellite Event
The
APSCC 2011 Satellite Conference and Exhibition,
Asia’s premier satellite event, successfully
ended on September 29 in Bali, Indonesia
after 3-day of conference program and social
events including CEO Roundtables, Panels
Discussions, Presentation Sessions, the
Exhibition and the 2011 APSCC Awards Ceremony.
Under the theme of ‘All Eyes on Satellite’,
350 delegates from the leading satellite
companies gathered in Bali for this must-attend
satellite event to network and to share
the insight from renowned senior executives
in the industry.
APSCC
2011 was opened by Mr. Yutaka Nagai, APSCC
President, and was followed by a welcome
address given by Dr. Rudy Lumanto, on behalf
of the Ministry of Communications and Information
Technology, Republic of Indonesia. Mr. Rinaldi
Firmansyah, CEO of TELKOM Indonesia, was
also present at the opening session to deliver
a keynote welcome.

The
Satellite Operators CEO Roundtable, as well
as panels and sessions on Satellite Broadcasting,
Launch Services, Policy and Regulatory,
Emergency Communications and Disaster Recovery,
the status of Asian Satellite Industry,
Manufacturing, Maritime, Broadband, Ground
Systems, Risk Management and MSS/ATC held
also to cover many intellectually stimulating
discussions on the core issues of the satellite
and space-related industries.
The
collaboration sessions with Euroconsult
and United Nations Office for Outer Space
Affairs (UN/OOSA) as well as Interference-Prevention
Summit co-organized by the Interference
Reduction Group (IRG) and Global VSAT Forum
(GVF) were held on 29 September in conjunction
with the APSCC 2011.

At
the APSCC 2011 Exhibition, leading players
of the industry including TELKOM (Indonesia),
Indovision (Indonesia), Indosat (Indonesia),
AST (Australia), GMV (Spain), Glowlink Communications
Technology Inc. (USA), Integral Systems
(USA), ISS (Russia), THAICOM (Thailand),
and Zodiac Data Systems (France) displayed
and demonstrated their state-of-the-art
products as well as services offering a
hands-on update for technology users.
