REGISTRATION

 

Registration Hours

The registration desk will be set up at the foyer of Crystal Ballroom (3F).  The registration desk opens from 25 to 28 September 2006.

25 September: 14:00~17:30

26~28 September: 08:00~17:30

 

Badges and admission

Official APSCC 2006 Conference badges must be worn at all times for admittance to all conference sessions, social events and the exhibition. Exhibitor badges do not permit entry to conference sessions and social events.

 

Food and Beverage Function Tickets

Admittance to the food and beverage functions is limited to registered conference delegates with badges. Individuals not registered for APSCC 2006 Conference will not be allowed to attend these functions. However, tickets are available for guests or visitors.

Lunch ticket: US$ 50

Reception ticket: US$ 30

Dinner ticket: US$ 70

 

Registration Policy

Registration fees include conference materials and attendance at all conference sessions including roundtables, exhibition, luncheons, dinners, receptions, and refreshment functions.

The Organizer does not accept hotel deposits or reservations

 

Substitution Policy

Paid registrations may be transferred to a substitute attendee if the substitute falls in the same registration category. All substitution requests must be submitted in writing.

 

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing by 31 August 2006. All cancellations are subject to a US$100 administrative fee. Registrants who do not cancel by 31 August  2006 will be liable for the full registration fee.

Admission to Exhibition

   Admission to APSCC 2006 Exhibition is open to the conference registrants, guests and visitors without charge. Every person is required to register and wear a badge during APSCC 2006 for admission into the exhibition hall.

 

 

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

 

APSCC has reserved a limited number of rooms at the Hotel Lotte World, Hotel Beluga and Hotel Lake for APSCC 2006. Rooms are available to delegates at special rates at theses hotels. Should you wish to make reservations for your accommodation, please fill in the form and email or fax it directly to the hotel. Beluga and Hotel Lake are located at 15 minutes distance by walk from Hotel Lotte World.

Visa Requirements

Any foreign visitor wishing to enter the Republic of Korea should have a valid passport and a visa. Visitors for sightseeing or transit with confirmed outbound tickets may stay in Korea up to 30 days without visas, except from the following countries:

Obtaining Invitations for VISA Applications

Please allow ample time to obtain a visa before you travel to Korea. If you require an official invitation from APSCC for a visa application, please inform us in advance, one month before your application.

 

Transportation Information

All participants are required to make their own flight and local transportation arrangements from departure points to Incheon International Airport. All participants may arrive at Incheon International Airport (IIA), which is connected to the major cities of the world. After passing through immigration and customs clearance at the arrivals terminal (1st floor), you may then choose the following procedures.

 

       (Incheon International Airport)

 

- Trip Time: Approximately 70 minutes (may vary depending on road conditions)

 

- Fare: KRW 12,000 (One Way)

 

- Airport Limousine (Bus # 600) : Airport Limousine buses run from IIA to major points in Seoul, including hotels. They depart every 10 minutes from 05:00AM to 22:20 PM.

 

-  KAL Limousine (Bus #4) : KAL Limousine buses run from IIA to major Hotels in Seoul. Line A buses go to the Grand Sheraton Walker Hill Hotel via Hotel Lotte World. It runs from 05:45 AM to 22:30 PM at intervals of 20~30 minutes.  

 

-  TAXI: The fare on taxis going from Incheon International Airport to the Hotel is metered and an extra-fare of 20% is added from midnight to 4 a.m.

 

Currency and Credit cards

The unit of Korean currency is the Won (₩) (Bill: 10,000/5,000/1,000 Coin: 500/100/50/10). The exchange rate as of July 2006 is roughly 930₩ to 1US dollar ($). Foreign currency and traveler's checks can be converted into Korean won at local banks and other authorized exchange booths. The exchange rate is subject to market fluctuations. Credit cards, including VISA, American Express, Master Card, Diners Club and JCB, are accepted at major hotels, department stores and larger restaurants.

 

Time Zone

Korean Standard Time is 9 hours ahead of UTC.

 

Electricity Supply

Outlets for 220 volts, 60 cycles are dominant. Always check the power supply before using any equipment.
