REGISTRATION

Registration Hours
The registration desk will be set up at the foyer of Mandarin Court (4F). The registration desk opens from 26 to 29 September 2005.

26 September: 14:00~17:30
27~29 September: 08:00~17:30

Badges and admission
Official APSCC 2005 Conference badges must be worn at all times for admittance to all conference sessions, social events and the exhibition. Exhibitor badges do not permit entry to conference sessions and social events.

Food and Beverage Function Tickets
Admittance to the food and beverage functions is limited to registered conference delegates with badges. Individuals not registered for APSCC 2005 Conference will not allowed to attend these functions. However, tickets are available for guests or visitors. Ticket purchase is available until 31 August 2005.

Lunch ticket: US$ 20 (per day)
Reception ticket: US$ 20 (per day)
Dinner ticket: US$ 50 (per day)

Registration Policy
Registration fees include conference materials and attendance at all conference sessions including roundtables, exhibition, luncheons, dinners, receptions, and refreshment functions. Registration will not be processed without payment. Fees will be determined by the date payment is received. The Organizer does not accept hotel deposits or reservations.

Substitution Policy
Paid registrations may be transferred to a substitute attendee if the substitute falls in the same registration category. All substitution requests must be submitted in writing. No substitutions will be available after 11 September 2005.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by 31 August 2005. All cancellations are subject to a US$100 administrative fee. Registrants who do not cancel by August 31, 2005 will be liable for the full registration fee.

APSCC 2005 EXHIBITION

Venue
The Belvedere Ballroom is located on the 4th Floor of Grand Tower of the Meritus Mandarin Singapore Hotel and at the same level as the Mandarin Court for conferences and social events.

Admission
Admission to APSCC 2005 Exhibition is open to the conference registrants, guests and visitors without charge. Every person is required to register and wear a badge during APSCC 2005 for admission into the exhibition hall.

POST-CONFERENCE GOLF TOURNAMENT

The APSCC Golf Tournament, sponsored by Arianespace and Orbital Sciences Corporation, will be held at Sentosa Golf Course (two 18 holes) in Sentosa Island on 30 September 2005. The tee-off time will be at 8:00 AM. The number of golfers is limited, so register before 31 August. To reserve your spot, please contact Karin Tan via email at tan_apscc@yahoo.com.sg.

APSCC has reserved a limited number of rooms at the Meritus Mandarin Hotel and Swissotel Merchant Court for APSCC 2005. Rooms are available to delegates at special rates at the hotels listed below. Hotel Room reservation is subject to availability at the time of booking.

TRANSPORTATION

All participants are required to make their own flight and local transportation arrangements from departure points to Singapore Changi Airport, which is located at the eastern tip of Singapore, about 20 kilometers from the city center and approximately 30 minutes from downtown.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
Generally, foreigners who do not require visas for entry and are visiting Singapore as tourists may be given up to 30-day social visit passes upon their arrival in Singapore.

Foreigners holding travel documents issued by the following countries will require a visa to enter Singapore: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Commonwealth of Independent States, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Myanmar, People's Republic of China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen.
In addition, visitors holding a Hong Kong Document of Identity, Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Travel Permit, Palestinian Authority Passport, Refugee Travel Document issued by the Middle-East countries and Temporary Passport issued by the United Arab Emirates will also require a visa to enter Singapore.
If you require an official invitation from APSCC for a visa application, please inform us two weeks in advance of your application.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

All visitors need to go through immigration clearance on arrival in Singapore. Visitors need to satisfy the following requirements before they are allowed to enter:

Passport valid for at least 6 months.
Confirmed onward/return tickets.
Sufficient fund to maintain themselves during their stay in Singapore.
Visa, if applicable.
Entry facilities, including visas, to their onward destinations.

The granting of social visit passes to visitors will be determined by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officers at Singapore checkpoints. Visitors are advised to check their passports/travel documents for arrival endorsements before they leave the checkpoint.
Visitors are advised to take note of the number of days of stay given in the social visit pass in order not to overstay. It is a punishable offense to overstay in Singapore beyond the number of days given. For example, if you arrived on 1st January, you can stay in Singapore until 15th January for a 14-day pass or 31st January for a 30-day pass.
Women who are 6 months or more than 6 months pregnant and intend to enter Singapore for a social visit should make prior application through the nearest Singapore overseas mission.
All visitors on social visit passes are not permitted to engage in any form of paid employment or in any business, profession or occupation in Singapore.


WEATHER

Singapore has a warm and humid climate throughout the year with a daily average temperature range of 24 degrees Celsius to 31 degrees Celsius. Light summer clothing made from natural fabrics like cotton is best for everyday wear. Casual dress is acceptable for most situations and occasions but some establishments may require a more formal dress code. It is always advisable to check beforehand on dress regulations, if any.

ELECTRICITY

Singapore voltage is 220-240 volts AC, 50 cycles per second. On request, most hotels will provide transformers to visitors with electrical appliances of a different voltage, such as 110-120 volts, 60 cycles per second. The power plugs used in Singapore are of the three-pin, square-shaped type.
