1. Networking Opportunities

The overarching mission of APSCC is to satisfy all its member's professional needs. Therefore APSCC tries hard to serve the interests of member entities through its general membership services. To this end, events are organized through regional coordination to allow members to discuss issues that affect the region and the industries and to provide members with opportunities for sharing information and networking with influential industry leaders, experts and decision makers and make a wide range of business contacts in the Asia-Pacific and worldwide at conferences, exhibitions, workshops, meetings, forums, etc.

Events

Members receive discounts on registration at events organized by APSCC, including the Annual APSCC Conference and Exhibition. Discounts range from 10% to 50% off regular registration fees. Some members may receive free passes and speaking invitations as well. Members also receive special benefits for APSCC-endorsed events.

Custom and Individual Meetings
APSCC may request meetings with specific parties of their choosing.
Members may attend or request a wide variety of custom-designed business meetings with companies and organizations related to their field.

 
2. Promotion and Information
 
Members receive subscriptions to APSCC publications, which consist of proceedings, reports, the Quarterly Newsletter, the monthly E-Newsletter and the annual APSCC Yearbook. With contributions from experts on the latest developments and cutting-edge technology and applications, APSCC publications keep members informed of critical issues in the business of satellite services, broadcasting, multimedia, data casting, outer space-related activities, and more. APSCC's official website also includes news and information about APSCC and its members. There are several ways that members may use these resources for information and individual promotion.

Business Promotion

Yearbook Profile: All members list their company description with contact information in the APSCC
  Yearbook free of charge. As an industry reference book and up-to-date source of business information and
  contacts, the Yearbook is an effective way to reach others in the industry.
Member News: Members can submit their organization's news, such as acquisitions, regulations, latest
  services, and products, to APSCC's monthly E-Newsletter, Quarterly print Newsletter and website.
Article contributions and interviews: Members are invited to write articles or give interviews for the Quarterly
  Newsletter as well.
Advertising: APSCC offers free advertising or reduced advertising rates in the Quarterly Newsletter,
  E-Newsletter, Program Guide and the Yearbook. The substantial savings offered in APSCC publications
  (compared to advertising rates in other industry publications) is another cost-effective way the APSCC helps
  members reach a targeted audience.
Website listing: All members are included in the online listing of APSCC members on the APSCC website.
  Each listing features a hyperlinked organization logo that will bring new visitors to the member's website.

Survey and Reports

In addition to its regular media publications, APSCC produces specific surveys and reports that contain valuable information on the latest developments in the field, including:

New services, applications, and space technologies
Market analysis and industry trends
Related laws, regulations, policies, and rules in Asia-Pacific countries
Spectrum and orbital resources for satellite communication

 
3. Business Representation and Facilitation
 
     
APSCC assists its members in achieving their individual goals as well as supporting joint projects of mutual benefit to members and the satellite and space related industries as a whole.

Joint Projects

APSCC collaborates with other international organizations to help members with various business activities.
APSCC organizes its own joint projects among member companies such as the Tsunami Relief and Reconstruction Committee

Business Facilitation

Member companies and member countries that are new to the space/satellite industries will receive
  assistance and advice from the APSCC as they engage in new business ventures.
APSCC establishes committees to carry out tasks for members concerning professional, technical and
  regulatory affairs and to promote satellite business competition by studying means of reducing service
  costs, improving system reliability, and creating new business models.
