The President of APSCC is the Chief Executive Officer of APSCC. Members elect the President for a two-year term, which is renewable once. As the main representative of APSCC, the President holds the authority and responsibility for implementing the directions and guidelines set by the Constitution and the Council, in consultation with the Board of Directors, Vice Presidents and Executive Director.

Yutaka Nagai is Senior Executive Vice President of SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation.
He started his career at Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Public Corporation in 1971 and was engaged in research and development work for satellite communications system. During his 40 years business career, his first involvement with satellite business was in 1986 when he joined Japan Communication Satellite Company Inc. Then he developed his career from satellite operation to satellite engineering, business planning and business development. Now, he shows a great leadership as top management of SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation.
He received a Bachelor of Engineering from Tokyo University.
