APSCC 2010 Continued Its Tremendous Success in Tokyo



APSCC 2010 Satellite Conference and Exhibition

Following the successful APSCC 2009 Satellite Conference and Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, APSCC 2010 was held Tokyo, Japan for the first time in the history of APSCC annual events since 1994.





Entering its sixteenth year, the APSCC’s 13th Annual Asia-Pacific Satellite Communications, Broadcasting and Space Conference and Exhibition, APSCC 2010 was designed for leading satellite operators, broadcasters, manufacturers, service providers, financing professionals, government regulators, users and academics to network with key players in the satellite and space-related industries including the most influential executives of the industry.


Themed “Beyond Survival, It Is Responsibility”, the APSCC 2010 Satellite Conference and Exhibition gathered over 350 professional and leaders from the satellite industry and continued to identify new business breakthroughs ahead of the industry and share the insights for the fast growing market and the social responsibility with leading speakers drawn from of the Asia-Pacific region.


The 3-day event was opened by APSCC President, Dr. Nongluck Phinainitisart and followed by the keynote addresses by Dr. Hiroshi Yamakawa, Secretary General of Secretariat of Strategic Headquarters for Space Policy and Dr. Masanori Homma, Executive Director Space Applications Mission Directorate, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
